In April 2008, the second frozen vegetable and fruit production line at Weifang Santao Food Co., Ltd. was successfully debugged and officially put into operation. The new frozen production line utilizes advanced machinery and an automated production line, capable of individually freezing 2 tons of fruits and vegetables per hour. The frozen products have received unanimous praise from domestic and international customers upon entering the market. With the new production line, our company is now able to produce more than 30 tons of frozen products daily, and over 10,000 tons annually.
In May 2008, the 1,500-ton cold storage facility at Weifang Santao Food Co., Ltd. was officially put into use. The new cold storage facility employs a fully automated racking system, paired with new TOYOTA electric forklifts, resolving the company’s previous capacity shortages and unbalanced production-sales situation. It effectively prevents product damage and disorganization, reduces inventory loss, and helps adjust for seasonal variations in product and raw material demand, lowering unit costs and expenses.
The commissioning of the new frozen production line and cold storage facility marks a new stage in the development of Santao Food Co., Ltd., reaching a new height, giving the company a boost, and filling it with vitality and strong growth potential.
